Creating a Custom Flag from a Photograph

Below is some information regarding the creation of custom flags which you may find interesting to review.   This shows two types of flags - appliqued and digital print.

              Vector Graphic Art is prepared for Clear Enlargement in order to fabricate a digital print flag.

     Photo of the resulting flag - made of 100% outdoor nylon.

 

    Different and slightly less complex art is prepared in order to fabricate an appliqued (fully sewn) flag.

This demonstrates two processes for custom flags.  Digital print flags are a set cost based upon size and quantity and include any amount of graphics or number of colors.

The appliqued flag price is very dependent upon number of colors and complexity of design and less on size and quantity.

Certain artwork can only be produced digitally due to the complexity and inclusion of gradations and other graphic elements or precise PMS colors.

An appliqued flag is limited to the range of nylon colors available and works best with less detail.
